drop shot badminton Plz help me – Badminton tryouts for school?
I am trying out for the school's badminton team and I have to verse this real good player
He has an awesome drop shot and good clears, he only does long serves but has a bad smash (he is about 1.8m tall)
I am really defensive and have a good smash and okay drop shot, I can vary my serving a bit but my weakness is my bad clear and the fact I can’t return a clear to save my life (i am 1.75m tall)
ANY ADVICE
mate - i cant say I know badminton that well - but I have played a couple times, and against really good players. All I can say is try your best - just keep an eye out to say what his weakness is during the game!
and if you dont win - you could potentially still be in the team, as it's how well you play and not if you win or lose.
good luck!

What are some kinds of good badminton rackets?
I am getting my first badminton racket. It's mostly for school because I have badminton for PE and because there's going to be a badminton club. I don't know if I'm really a beginner because I've been playing for 3 or 4 years.
So what should I look for when I'm buying a racket. Like the strings, grip, brand, etc. And what are some of the really good brands. And I don't want the brands that are really expensive I just want to ones that cost 20 dollars or less. And please don't tell me to go and buy it online because I don't have a credit card and I don't my parents will let me use theirs. And please tell me some of the stores where I can buy the rackets at too if you can. Thnx <3
theres no difference to me..... its only the handles and the size thats different and what their made of..... so get 1 that feels good for you, try swinging it in a OPEN area and just fool around with it to see what its like for u. hope this helps
Can you please check the serial number of a racquet I got from a classmate?
I bought this racquet from him for 90 US Dollars.
Racquet Name = Yonex Nanospeed 7000
Here is a picture of how it looks. http://www.racquetmaster.co.uk/images/ns7000.jpg
I'm unsure of what generation it is.
Additional Details: grommets are uneven and the holes outside the racquet head where the strings go through sometimes alternate between circles and "stretched ovals, almost rectangular"
Oh wow 90 bucks sorry to tell you my friend I've seen the racquet and used it in a store before and then I saw the same racquet in a flea market only it was just a little bit different. Have you used the real racquet before? Knockoffs never stack up compared to the real racquets.
