during a badmintion unit in gym class about 2 weeks ago my team mate was going to hit the birdie with his racket as hard as he could but instead of the birdie he hit my face...really really hard....i got a huge cut above my eye and my vision is all messed up and my eye is really really weird now and i have to take special drops and stuff to help me see, anyway...I'm supposed to avoid bright lights or i get headaches, and I have to avoid crying because it puts strain on my eye...well im starting to cry a little bit right now (long story) anyway ive tried everything, listened to funny songs, play video games, look at pictures that have a funny memory to them but nothing can seem to stop me from crying, what should I do?
no thanks im 14
well im a girl thank you very much lol, and I'm not sure I can sue him and even if I could I'd find it morally hard for me to do because it was an accident...yes he's an idiot but its still an accident
transfer your sadness to anger and get revenge on the s.o.b. that did that to your eye.
badminton bay area Where can I play badminton at San francisco?
I wanted to find a place where I can play badminton at SF bay area. It must be free and not too far.
Badminton is huge in the Bay Area, but finding a cheap place to play is something else. The best way is if you have friends, especially high school friends who enjoy playing. Many high schools host badminton open gyms during the weekend and a price around $3 for a few hours. Your friends could tell you if their school is hosting open gyms or if they stopped the open gyms now that school has started. There are other places like Smash City in Milpitas that have great facilities, but they charge $7 on the weekends, though it's only $3 on weekdays. I don't think you'll find any courts for free though.

sports badminton What is the closest sport to Badminton?
Yeah. I want to know because I can't find a badminton club really nearby. I want to start a sport that is the closest to badminton, and widely known!
There are two sports that are like badminton, but not exactly the same; First is tennis, which has basically the same concept of using a racket to hit a ball (or in badminton, a birdie) over a net. Second is racquetball, which is kind of confusing, but once you get the hang of it, it is very fun to play weekly.
what is the role of arobic and phisycal fitness in sports especially badminton?
The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) defines aerobic exercise as "any activity that uses large muscle groups, can be maintained continuously, and is rhythmic in nature." It is a type of exercise that overloads the heart and lungs and causes them to work harder than at rest (ref. 1).
Physical fitness is a result of regular physical activity, proper diet and nutrition, and proper rest for physical recovery within the parameters allowed by the genome.
Physical fitness is often divided into the following types (in alphabetical order):
If you know badminton, I don't have to tell you that it depends on the way you play it. You can lazily play it in your backyard without much benefit from aerobic exercise or physical fitness.
However, you can play hard with an equally good player and try to return all shots the best you can and at the same time try to win points by using drop shot, smash, lob and etc. The latter will result in great benefit to your body and mind.
Good luck and have fun.
wilson badminton rackets Which badminton racket would be best for me?
I'm trying to get a new badminton racket, but I need a little bit of help. The one I use right now is a Wilson TI-Power, but I want to get a Yonex one. I play doubles, front and back. I usually focus on clearing and smashing, but I also want to work on dropping. I guess I'd be considered at an intermediate level.
The rackets I'm looking at are Nanospeeds and ArmorTecs. I've tried ArmorTecs 500 and 700 before, and I liked them, but they're a bit out of my price range. So which racket would be the best choice for me for the best price?
I'm trying to keep the price no more than $150.
Yonex is the best for badminton rackets. It will suit you for your game.
Hey, I have been playing badminton for couple of years, I'm only 14.
I wanted to get a badminton racket which will suit me the best, because I am going to be playing on a high school team.
I'm looking for a light yet powerful racket; lighter than average because i like to move around faster.
The racket has to be strong because i love to smash, and use my power as an advantage.
The price I'm looking for is somewhere between $50-$110.
I was considering these brands: Yonex, Wilson, Ashaway, Carlton, MMOA, Wilson, Astec, and Prince.
Thanks!
Go with the Wilson. That is a trusted and reliable brand.
