Describe how you score in badminton. Include the rules and order for your singles and doubles service?!
Help?
Thank you! xoxoxo
You often play to 15 points, you have to win by at least two points. You only score in your own serve. You score a point if your opponent fails to return the ball or place the ball outside the line, in the net, under the net, whatever. The rules of scoring are the same for singel as for doubles.
What does the word 'set' mean in this following paragraph;;
For ladies singles, first to 11 points wins. At 9 all, first player to reach 9 has option to set or not to set. Not set means playing to 11. Set means the score goes back to love all, and the first to get 3 points wins ( it is not necessary to win by 2 points ). If play continues without set and the players reach a score of 10 all, the first player to reach 10 has the option to set or not to set. If game is set, the score goes to love all, and the first to 2 points wins.
To 'set' or to start the points back to luv all. It basically means to reset the score, In which you can obtain an advantage by playing
'FIRST TO three or two' rather than first to 11 and needing a two point lead. Also Usually, what we play at school (these rules are what I play at school!?) is that if you decide to set then even If you lose a point in that set than you can still serve. I don't know If that ine is a regulation rule though. Hope this helps.
