Did Turkmenistan won anything in the Beijing Olympics?

Please tell me more about the rules of Badminton in Turkmenistan, and who are the players representing Turkmenistan in the olympics. Also, if possible, please include famous players in Turkmenistan. Thanks!

Turkmenistan has not won a medal in the Olympics.

I am not familiar that the Badmition rules in Turkmenistan are different than elsewhere.

The most successful Olympians from Turkmenistan include Igor Pirekeev (who placed 9th in the Men's 50m Rifle Prone in 2004), Umurbek Bazarbayev who place 7th in the 62kg Weightlifting in 2004 and Tolkunbek Hudaybergenov who placed 7th in the 62kg Weightlifting in 2008.

The most famous Olympians tend to be the flagbearers.

2008 - Guvanch Nurmuhammedov (Judo)
2004 - Shokhrat Kurbanov (Boxer)
2000 - Chary Mamedov (Discus Thrower)
1996 - Rozy Redzhepov (Wrestler)

Whats the difference between rules and regulations?

In terms of sports, I'm doing an assignment on the rules and regulations of Badminton and put them into 3 different situations. Any suggestions??

Rules I think can be applied to a branch of something, however the regulations govern all aspects of the rules, and I think regulations are more broadly associated with legality, discipline and best working practises.

NB i think it's fair to say that my answer is interpretation and not dictionary definition, so if you want a broader explanation, I would say consult a dictionary.

Hope that helps a little.

Take care and be well.

How to deal with my awful gym teacher?

We don't really do anything physical in his class, we just take quizzes/do essays on "rules" on different "sports" we play for a month straight. Example: we played basketball today and my team was on the other team's half of the court and I got the ball, so I passed it to another player on my team and we got yelled at. He yells at us for not being "waterbugs" (?!) and we got yelled at because "Every single american can play a video game with 500 rules but we're too lazy to remember a few rules for badminton" What the hell? Nobody in my entire family plays video games, or even has time to do anything but go to work/eat/sleep/school/and sometimes I have to ignore some of these things to make it to snowboard practice. He's really close-minded, too. I know some people have had worse, but honestly I don't like this german nazi dude being my gym teacher.

Maybe rate him/add a comment to warn future students at ratemyteachers.com?
