wilson badminton rackets Which badminton racket would be best for me?
I'm trying to get a new badminton racket, but I need a little bit of help. The one I use right now is a Wilson TI-Power, but I want to get a Yonex one. I play doubles, front and back. I usually focus on clearing and smashing, but I also want to work on dropping. I guess I'd be considered at an intermediate level.
The rackets I'm looking at are Nanospeeds and ArmorTecs. I've tried ArmorTecs 500 and 700 before, and I liked them, but they're a bit out of my price range. So which racket would be the best choice for me for the best price?
I'm trying to keep the price no more than $150.
Yonex is the best for badminton rackets. It will suit you for your game.
Hey, I have been playing badminton for couple of years, I'm only 14.
I wanted to get a badminton racket which will suit me the best, because I am going to be playing on a high school team.
I'm looking for a light yet powerful racket; lighter than average because i like to move around faster.
The racket has to be strong because i love to smash, and use my power as an advantage.
The price I'm looking for is somewhere between $50-$110.
I was considering these brands: Yonex, Wilson, Ashaway, Carlton, MMOA, Wilson, Astec, and Prince.
Thanks!
Go with the Wilson. That is a trusted and reliable brand.

racket supply what string is best for this racket?
I am 15 years old and play varsity tennis. I recently bought a new racket, Wilson K six one tour, and dont know what strings will go well with this racket. i am 6'4" about 250lbs so i can hit the ball hard. i would prefer no natural gut because i tear through it in 15-30min. i have a average speed of 100-110 mph on my first serve but consistency is about 50%. i would not mind sacrificing some power for control and spin. i am generally looking for a a string that will last long and has control and spin, for i dont need that much power that i can supply myself. thanks to whoever answers
Wow man i've been playing for like 6 years now and it seems to me that you could whoop my butt. lol Anyways I like to use Babolat Pro Hurricane (regular not the tour) strings in full. They can be a little harsh on the arm but they never break on me. Being a hard hitter like myself I've have gotten used to it. You can also try Luxilon Big Banger strings which are probably the toughest to break. Its so solid it feels like you are hitting with a wall. But indeed it produces a bunch of spin and control. For feel you can try Babolat addiction which is the same material as the Pro Hurricanes but feel softer. As for tension you should go a few pounds down as all these strings are very sturdy. But then again if you hit really really hard I'd say stick with the tension you like playing with so that your shots won't be flying all over the place. I've played with your racquet before and I would suggest either 54 or 55 lbs. Thats just my suggestion. Hope this helps and good luck with your playing!

The Mafia Cashes in On the Swine Flu Mask Racket
Replacing toilet flapper caused more problems?
After I replaced the flapper on the toilet fulsh valve assembly I turned the water supply back on and now get a terrible racket like a jack hammer from the supply . If I decrease the flow the noise stops but the toilet tank takes a long time to fill. Anything I can do to get back my normal water flow without the noise??
Thanks, Moldyfig
The hammering sound is caused by a bad flush valve just replace it with a fluidmaster 400A valve and the problem will be gone.
It is very easy to replace and can be purchased at your local hardware store.
The only tool you need is a pair of pliers.
guys i a badminton racquet. today i went to the mall and i was checking out these yonex nanospeeds and it was like 200 bucks so i was like..."ill have to check some different stores too"
so after that i went home and i went on ebay and i see these nanospeeds on ebay EXACT SAME AS I SAW AT STORE for like 50 bucks? its made in japan and all so is this some kind of scam? these sellers have 99.9% ,100% ratings and such. i come from a poor family so i dont want to spend 200
thanks alot guys!!! i apreciate you reading this and helping me!
First thing is that these types of raquets will generally sell for a lot less in China and Japan due to a much larger market and not having to ship the items overseas.
Having said that, a lot of fakes come out of China (in my case I was looking a old jade coins...eBay is a haven for a multitude of fraudsters in this category). So be careful who you buy from, what you are buying and their reputation. If you buy from overseas, stick to vendors with high feedback (ie. 99%+) and a good quantity of feedback. If they have 50 feedback or less be cautious, as they probably have multiple accounts when one gets full of too much negative.
The other word of caution is the shipping price. Confirm what the shipping price is ahead of time. Generally, the scam vendors will charge huge amounts for shipping for items that more often than not turn out to be fakes.
Bottomline, just be cautious and ask your questions before bidding.

what kind of badminton racquet is right?
well, a have a bit of experience in badminton and, i bought yonex isometric 75 MFLT and its a fairly light racquet, and a few of my friends told me that i should have gotten something like muscle power 21, or something heavier rather than something light, are they right?
It depends on how good you are in playing badminton.... if you`re really good at badminton i prefer you to use heavier racquets beacuse the heavier it is the higher you can hit but heavy raquets are a little hard to play with because your hand gets tired after playing .
