rules of badminton serving

True or False? In Badminton, a serve is delivered directly to the court in front of you.?
Please provide a reason/ correct service rule
FALSE. The court is split into to Two service courts on each side and you serve diagonally across to the opposite side of the net. there is a six foot gap between the net and the start of the service court if the shuttle lands here on serve it is out. In singles it is in all the way to the back line and also in at the narrower of the tram line like tennis. Doubles it is the fist tram line at the back for serve but the wider tram line is in. On your own side you alternate between the two service courts left for odd numbers right for even and if receiving always stand in the court diagonal to your opponent. Whomever wins the point serves. There are other service rules such as your racket must point in a downward direction and the shuttle must be struck in an upwards direction contact to be made no higher than the waist.
