badminton serving rules

playing badminton in p.e?

ok so my p.e class is doing a badminton unit, and I love to play it, but my one problem is I don't know the rules for serving. I know they shouldn't be to complicated because we don't have to switch from left to right for serving or anything, we just have to serve from behind a white line. But the thing I don't know is how to tell who's turn it is to serve. Can somebody please explain to me, how I can tell?

p.s it's pairs badminton if that is necessary information.

Whoever wins the previous point serves.

The first serve is determined by the flip of a coin, racquet or whatever you can flip.

You must serve from the service box you are standing in, to diagonally across into their service box.
After you win a point, you swap service box with your partner and then you serve again.
You keep serving like that until you lose a point, which it is then the opponents turn.

The next point your team wins, the serve rotates and your partner now gets to serve.

Hope that helps.
