badminton rules and history
Can you help me with my outline for an informative speech for Badminton, just the main points?
I have to write an outline about the sport, Badminton, and the speech should be about 5 minutes long.
I don't know what main points I should talk about. Can you help me? I need a couple more because I was thinking about history and rules.
But what else, so my audience don't think it's too boring. Sub-points would be great too. Thanks in advance.
A perfect way to gather info (imp. points) will be from Wikipedia.
- History
- Overview (singles/doubles/mens/womens/mixed etc.
- Simplified rules (service, best of three games of 21 each)
- Organization/Governance (BWF) on world/continent/national/domestic levels.
- Current world no. 1s (only mens and womens singles)
- Prominant countries (China, Indonasia, India, Malaysia, England, Denmark)
You can also talk a little bit about how you picked it up, why you like it, where and when do you play it and so forth if that is allowed.
Try collecting more information from Wikipedia and BWF's website.
