Am I doing enough extracurricular activities?
I'm a freshman
I am in 4 clubs- three are community service, and one is a business competition club (I might pursue business as a career).
I might or might not join the badminton team at my school (season starts in the spring).
I volunteer by tutoring middle and elementary school kids afterschool
I babysit three days a week
Assuming that in the coming years I get mostly A's, good application essay, good reccomendations, and good SATs, would my extracurriculars be enough for me to get into a good college?
I'm thinking top ten to top twenty of the best undergrad business schools:

University of Virginia
Notre Dame
MIT
Emory
University of Michigan
NYU
Brigham Young
University of Texas
University of Indiana

UC Berkeley
Georgetown
Cornell

Those are certainly enough. But, quality is much MUCH more important than quantity. There is a myth in college admissions that colleges are looking for well rounded students. Well, that simply is not true. The top colleges are NOT looking for well rounded students. They ARE looking for well rounded classes (the entire freshman class as a whole). Think about it. Which is better, a group of freshman that are all reasonably good flutists, soccer player, and dancers OR a group of freshman where one is an amazing flutist, one is an incredible soccer player, and one is a dazzling dancer? Well, the second is better. So don't worry about quantity. Worry about quality. You want to show exceptional commitment and talent in the activities that you participate in. After all, anyone can sign up for a bunch of extracurricular activities, but only impressive people can be exceptional at the activities they partake in. And colleges want the impressive people, not the 'anyone's.

Probability question using 2 objects..Math 30 10 POINTS!!?
A grade 9 class playing badminton in the gym didnt clean up very well after they were done. When the janitor swept up, there were 12 feathered shuttlecocks and 9 plastic shuttlecocks in a pile. They were put into a bag to show the class the next day. If two shuttlecocks were pulled from teh bag without replacement, determine the probabilities of the following:
a) 1 plastic and then 1 feathered shuttlecock
b)1 plastic and 1 feathered shuttlecock
c) at least 1 plastic shuttlecock
For a) i had gotten teh answer 1/108. for b) i got the answer 1/108, and for c) i got the answer 10/81.....
i dont beleive my answers are rite at all....so if anyone could explain as to how to get the correct answer..that would be awesome....im teahcing myself..so i need detailed summaries...thanks!!!
A) 9:21 * 12:20 = 108:2160 (colons can be looked at as "/"s)
= 1/20 << Reduced
B) 12:21 * 9:20 = 108:2160
= 1/20 << Reduced
+PLUS+
9:21 * 12:20 = 108:2160
= 1/20 << Reduced
1/20 +1/20 = 1/10 << You must add these two because there are TWO outcomes. One plastic then feather and the other feather then plastic. Consequentially, the odds improve.
C)
9/21 * 9/20 = X
9/21 * 8/20 = Y
Add X and Y together to get the answer, I don't have a calculator and I'm too tired to do out the math.

Paper Bag - part 1
DOES HE LIKE ME!?!??! help me out people!?
So, I used to like this guy. I think he sort of knew about it.
One day we were practising badminton together, and he brought his girlfriend with him. i was like wtf?
So now I have started to ignore him a bit, and show no interest in him because he is taken.
But one day he dropped his bag LOUD on a chair in front of me and looked into my eyes while i was playing badminton. it was obvious that he wanted me to notice him.
and once he winked at me when we said hi, and he very often secretely stares at me.
WHY did he do that? What's his deal? what does he want from me? do you think he is interested in me, and maybe wants us both?
And please don't say "who cares, he is taken. leave him alone"

I honesty think he likes you!,why else would he send you those signals.
Some guys really like to mess around with other girls even when they
have a girlfriend.but i sayy just go with the flow. and see what things lead to.
