rules of badminton serving True or False? In Badminton, a serve is delivered directly to the court in front of you.?
Please provide a reason/ correct service rule
FALSE. The court is split into to Two service courts on each side and you serve diagonally across to the opposite side of the net. there is a six foot gap between the net and the start of the service court if the shuttle lands here on serve it is out. In singles it is in all the way to the back line and also in at the narrower of the tram line like tennis. Doubles it is the fist tram line at the back for serve but the wider tram line is in. On your own side you alternate between the two service courts left for odd numbers right for even and if receiving always stand in the court diagonal to your opponent. Whomever wins the point serves. There are other service rules such as your racket must point in a downward direction and the shuttle must be struck in an upwards direction contact to be made no higher than the waist.
The racket I'm currently using is the Wilson n5 Oversize. I like the racket, but I think it's time to move up. The racket feels a little light and I seem to need to exert a lot more energy to hit deep into the court (which I want to be able to do). I want a new racket that is preferably 100'' or around that face. Also I'm a freshman and I will be trying out for JV tennis at my school in the spring (no freshman team) if that helps.
Talk of a new tennis racquet is quite serious. Out of all your equipment, that is the one that will affect your game the most. You have to make sure you get everything about your new racquet as close to perfect as possible. String tension, weight distribution, size, and of course like it's appearance, but that matters least. I really cannot put you in any direction, nor can anyone else on Yahoo Answers know what is right for you. I suggest talking to your tennis coach, he is the only person that knows your game best, besides you of course.
Good Luck, and don't settle for less then what you want!

how to make my racket more head light?
i put lead tape on the racket head at the 12,3,6, and9 o clock in the racket face(3 grams each) to increase sweetspot and overall weight. but it became less head light so my racket now is not really maneuverable at the net. i want to make it more head light to increase maneuverability. yeah i know i have to use lead tape but where will i put them?
remove the buttcap of your racket handle and fold some lead tape and put them inside the handle and replace the buttcap
yonex badminton racquets What is the best badminton racquet!?
Racquets from yonex only.
The best racquet from Yonex, IMO, is the Muscle Power 100. It is balanced and allows the player to smash really really hard. Also, the control and feel for it is really good since it's balanced with a little head heavy-ness.
Hey, i wanted to get a good badminton racquet for my girl friend. I want something that is light and good for birdies and stuff. Shes not a smash person. A yonex, head or Wilson would be preferable. Any ideas in the price range between 50 to 60 bucks.....
