What is the revision of scoring system in badminton?
Old system. The doubles and men¡¦s singles game consists of 15 points provided that, when the score is 14-all, the side which first reached 14 has the option of "setting" the game to 3. After a game has been "set" the score is called "love-all", and the side which first scores 3 points wins the game. If players choose to "set", the score is no longer called "love-all"; instead the score continues to be called to 17. In either case, the claim to "set" the game must be made before the next service is delivered after the score has reached 14-all. The ladies¡¦ singles game consists of 11 points. Provided that when the score is "9-all" the player who first reached 9 has the option of "setting" the game to 3, and when the score is "10-all" the player who first reached 10 has the option of "setting" the game to 2 3. A side rejecting the option of "setting" at the first opportunity shall not thereby be debarred from "setting" if a second opportunity arises. Notwithstanding paragraph (a) above, it is permissible by prior arrangement for only one game to be played and also for this to consist of 21 points, in which case "setting" shall be as for the game of 15 points with scores of 19 and 20 being substituted for 14 respectively.
New Scoring: Rally Point scoring format that just recently adopted and used for major tournaments, the winning team needs 21 points to win the match. Only one player has the right to serve once until the receiving team scores. The turn will be alternately to each players.

Why badminton is not popular in USA or Europe?
It's actually a good sport & quite fun playing in teams. People in Asia like it & make a good business too..
I have no idea. I love badminton (and I'm Asian too =) ) and it is fun to play! I'm not totally good at it, but I do wonder why no one has badminton teams in schools. I mean, it is fun and a lot of people are actually pretty good at it.
i cant hit well but i have problems with moving around the court. i have a really slow reaction and i get tired easily
i mean i can* hit well
It seems that you have problem with stamina and reflect.
To get your stamina better, you have to do jogging or running oftenly. Do these exercises everyday or if you can't do it at least twice a week. It is better to keep doing it occasionally in all month than once but intensive.
To improve your reflect, you need a partner to help you. Find him and ask him to throw a shuttlecock to a corner of the court. after you can beat it, throw another shuttlecock to another corner. This make you run to every corner and it will help you much in the real match.
But if you can't find a partner for doing it, you can train by yourself. You can run between two box and move from one box to another. Keep the box beside you.
