Me and my friend were joking about some stuff when she told me to go to her house. I told her I was feeling lazy and she told me that it shows in my personality. She even insulted me by saying that my badminton and writing is crappy. I lashed out at her cause I'm not taking her s***. She stopped and said that I'm coming out way to strong and she'll never get used to it. But what can I do? That's just the way I am. I am defensive and that's just my nature. I'm not really a bad person (nope! never smoked, never did drugs, never drunk, never been kissed, never had a boyfriend, never had sex...I'M 14 YEARS OLD) I'm not even some punkass kid. I'm just defensive and I have a really strong character. NEED ADVICE PLEEEAASSEE!
wow, i wish i could be just like you I beleive your not some bad kid at all. You are very good at defending yourself and you should apreciate that I think your friend was mean about what she said about you or even jealous. So when you defended yourself, she was appalled or even shocked because she wasn't expecting that kind of reaction and made it look like your bad person. But your not! Who knows she is probably feeling bad right now about the whole thing. Things will sort out, if it's easier go talk to her and i'm sure it will all work out

Will I ever find the "one"?
Most women like bad boys, like my cousin. I am and have always been an honor student, I love playing badminton and polo and horse riding, I also roleplay as a lawyer at this prestigious club my father signed me up for. Why can't I get girls like will? I can be as charming when I want to be, but they never give me a chance. Will is always using this shortcoming as to joke about all the time. Will I ever find her? I am going to harvard next year. I don't want to be the college loser.
Can anyone help me?
Superhero: You see what I mean, they always hate on me. I am such a nice guy.
No one usually finds "The One." They always find the off "it's-alright-if-they're-not-emotionally-broken one." That's how it happens in the movies.
Squash Tennis I dont sweat when I exercise, am I still burning fat/calories? I jog lightly 3x a week n play squash & tennis?
Any exercise will burn calories, but whether or not you burn fat depends on the amount of exercise and how hard you are going.
Sweating may or may not mean anything, but it is not required to burn calories.
If I played tennis since I was 4 and good at it, do you think that will help me in squash?
im 13 now and I want to start playing squash for the sake of college, if you play tennis will you be pretty good when you start squash?I want to start a squash club.
Hi, I'm 16 and i also have played tennis since i was very young and last year i started squash, and yes it does help because you already know how to hit a ball. The only difference is that the squash ball is smaller, but this actually makes it easier. Also, i personally find squash alot easier than tennis so from my personal experience of taking up squash last year, it does help, definitely. The other thing i found with my tennis game after playing squash for a few months is that you have to hit the ball harder in squash so that it bouncs off the wall, so when you play tennis it also has that affect i found, because i then started hitting the tennis ball harder too.
I have just started playing badminton, but i am unsure about things like:
how the shuttlecock toss helps determine who serves
who serves in doubles and when you have to swap sides with your partner
basic rules
basic techniques etc
Any input and advice would be very much appreciated!
Ok, see the link below for the simplified rules. I'll cover the some of your other questions here.
Shuttlecock toss: after tossing the shuttlecock, the side the shuttlecock points to determines who will serve first. If the shuttlecock doesn't point to a side or is hard to judge, toss it again.
Serving: the winner of the toss serves first. the side winning the point continues to serve, otherwise service is over. See link for more information.
Swapping sides: you only swap sides with your partner if you are the serving side and you win the point. Receiving side does not swap.
